OREANDA-NEWS  On the night of April 3, Russian air defense systems shot down 192 drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) over the regions. This is stated in a statement by the Russian Defense Ministry, made after repelling a massive attack.

According to the ministry, Ukrainian drones were destroyed in the Orel, Tver, Tula, Smolensk, Ryazan, Rostov, Pskov, Kaluga, Kursk, Novgorod, Voronezh, Bryansk and Belgorod regions, as well as in the Moscow region, Krasnodar Territory and Crimea. Information about the areas of falling debris and possible consequences on the ground is not provided.

Earlier, the governor of the Leningrad Region, Alexander Drozdenko, said that two people were injured in the drone attack. According to him, seven aircraft were shot down over the region. The fall of debris was recorded in the Vsevolzhsky district, as a result of which the roof of an unused building in the industrial zone of the village named after Morozov was damaged.

In turn, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin reported four drones shot down by air defense systems during the night. The head of the capital did not specify details about the place where the debris fell.
