A day earlier, on February 26, it was reported that fighters of the North group of forces were storming the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk region. The Russian army strikes with cannon artillery, mortars and FPV drones.
"There are tactical successes in the area of Novaya Sorochina and Lebedevka. The offensive continues to develop in the Malaya Lokni area, but it is greatly hampered by the large amount of open terrain," the report says.
It emphasizes that due to the open terrain, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have the opportunity to actively use kamikaze drones for defense.
