OREANDA-NEWS  With drone attacks on Russian cities, Ukraine is trying to cause panic. This was stated by a member of the State Duma Defense Committee, Lieutenant General Andrey Gurulev in Telegram.

Most of the drones are launched by people sympathetic to Ukraine "directly from our territory," the deputy claims. The terrorist acts committed in this way have nothing to do with the course of hostilities, he noted.

Such actions by Ukraine and the West behind it will not succeed in undermining the Russians' faith in the military and political leadership of the country, Gurulev said. He urged not to give in to the desire to "act tougher and faster in such matters" and to trust the special services.

On July 30, a drone flew into one of the towers of Moscow City. The explosion damaged more than a hundred double-glazed windows on seven floors. The Kremlin called the incident a manifestation of the essence of the Ukrainian authorities. The press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov said that drone raids on civilian objects are terrorist attacks.
