OREANDA-NEWS "United Russia" will work to increase the production of Russian agricultural products within the framework of the party's people's program and the implementation of a program for integrated rural development, said Vladimir Plotnikov, First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma on Agrarian Issues.

He noted that the "United Russia" national program reflects the mechanisms for the development of preferential leasing, preferential loans, and the use of modern technologies in agriculture. He also recalled that earlier, at the initiative of United Russia and as part of the implementation of the instructions of Russian President Vladimir Putin, a program for the integrated development of rural areas was adopted, which proved its effectiveness.

"We will do everything to increase the volume of its financing. This program allows us to develop housing, schools, hospitals, sports facilities in rural areas, and create comfortable living conditions. If all these factors are combined, there will be more production facilities, and food security will be strengthened. United Russia will contribute to this," Plotnikov said during a debate on Channel One, as quoted on the EP's website.
