OREANDA-NEWS Air defense systems have thwarted a new attack attempt on Moscow by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This was announced by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, on Telegram.

According to him, two drones were destroyed. Information about the area of the falling debris and possible consequences on the ground is not provided. Emergency services specialists are working on site.

Earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry reported the destruction of 17 Ukrainian drones over the regions on the night of February 26. Seven of them were shot down in the Bryansk region, four in the Tula Region, two in the Kaluga Region, one each in the Belgorod and Voronezh regions, and one more over the waters of the Black and Azov Seas.
