OREANDA-NEWS  Ukraine plans to create space forces by the end of the year, the Ukrainian Judicial and Legal Newspaper wrote on Tuesday, referring to the program of activities of the Ukrainian government.

"By December 31, 2025, the structure of the defense forces should be updated in connection with the creation of space forces, and the legal and organizational basis for their functioning should be formed," the publication's website says.
At the same time, the publication notes that the criterion for achieving the goals in 2026 will be the 60% operational readiness of the space component of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
