OREANDA-NEWS The trade turnover between Russia and Tajikistan increased by 7.1% to $1.5 billion in 2024, and by another 17.3% in the first seven months of this year, Russian Presidential aide Yuri Ushakov said.

Russian President Vladimir Putin will visit Tajikistan on October 8-10.

"Russia is Tajikistan's leading trading partner. Our country's share in the republic's foreign trade last year was 22.6%... The trade turnover in 2024 increased by 7.1%, to $1.5 billion, and by another 17.3% in the first seven months of this year," Ushakov told reporters on Tuesday.
