OREANDA-NEWS  Former American President Joe Biden has sold the rights to his memoirs to the Hachette Book Group. The deal amounted to ten million dollars, The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) reported.

So, the book turned out to be cheaper than the memoirs of 42-year-old US President Bill Clinton, for which he earned $ 15 million, as well as the stories of 44-year-old American leader Barack Obama and his wife Michelle, whose publishing rights were sold for $ 60 million.

Biden's interests, according to the publication, were represented by the Creative Artists Agency talent agency. The date of the book's release is not specified, as it will depend on the 82-year-old politician's state of health.

Earlier it became known that Biden was diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer. The former head of the White House is under the supervision of a renowned surgeon who has successfully overcome cancer himself.
