OREANDA-NEWS. The newspaper Anchorage Daily News, published in Alaska, together with the investigative online edition ProPublica, won the Pulitzer gold medal in the journalism’s main nomination Public Service. The award’s official website reports that it was granted for their joint investigation over sexual violence in Alaska.

The New York Times received three awards. In total, eight articles and videos of the American newspaper were awarded: in particular, materials on the poisoning of businessman Emelyan Gebrev in Bulgaria and on Russia’s interference in the affairs of other states, such as Libya, Syria and the Central African Republic.
