OREANDA-NEWS  Russia has come up with a way to combat phishing sites. This was reported in the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation.

According to the agency, the Prosecutor General's Office, the Ministry of Finance of Russia and Roskomnadzor are currently planning to launch an automatic system for detecting phishing sites. As noted in the department, such resources illegally collect personal data, as well as information about payment cards and passwords for remote banking operations.

Earlier it was reported that in the third quarter of 2022, fraudsters stole record amounts of funds from bank customer accounts — almost four billion rubles. A total of 229,757 incidents were recorded. In total, the amount of funds transferred without the consent of Russians amounted to 3.973 billion rubles.
