OREANDA-NEWS  A correspondent of the Russian TV channel Zvezda was detained in the Raska area on the border with Kosovo. This was announced on Tuesday, December 13, according to the Telegram channel "Stars".

As the journalist himself told the editorial office, he was detained by Serbian police while working. At the same time, the reason and other circumstances of the detention are still unknown.

It is clarified that the TV channel has already sent all the necessary requests to the Russian consulate in Serbia.

On December 10, the situation in northern Kosovo escalated again. It was reported that the Serbs began to build barricades there after the detention of the ethnic Serb Dejan Pantic, a former police officer of the self-proclaimed Republic of the Interior Ministry. Then police special forces from Pristina were brought to the north of the province. On the night of Sunday, December 11, three shootings took place near Gazivode Lake on the way to the checkpoint "Brnyak".

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic called December 11 the most difficult day during his presidency. On this day, he called an emergency meeting of the National Security Council against the background of the aggravation of the situation in the north of Kosovo.
