OREANDA-NEWS American actress and UN Goodwill Ambassador for Refugees Angelina Jolie shared on her Instagram (the social network is banned in the territory of the Russian Federation) her impressions of the trip to Lviv. She spoke about communicating with children who were injured as a result of the explosions.

«Many of the children injured in the explosion at the Kramatorsk train station have recently had shrapnel fragments removed — a complex and painful process. Fragments located near vital organs were too dangerous to remove and remained inside the bodies of some children», Jolie wrote.

The actress was also shown an «unusual stone» with which a little girl was playing. According to Jolie, it was a bomb fragment, distinguished by «brilliance and unusual» for a child.

Earlier, a croissant, which was not finished by Angelina Jolie in a coffee shop in Lviv, was put up for sale on one of the Ukrainian websites. 1 million hryvnias ($33.1 thousand at the current exchange rate) are being asked for the lot. The seller is ready to bargain at the same time. The Telegram channel Star News drew attention to the announcement. However, it has now been removed from the site. At the end of April, Jolie visited a city in western Ukraine on a humanitarian mission.
