OREANDA-NEWS Books about the special military operation (SVO) were included in the list for extracurricular reading by schoolchildren. This follows from the list of patriotic literature published on the website of the Ministry of Education.
The list of works is divided into classes. Books about SVO are not included in the list for children in grades 1-4. For students in grades 5-9, as well as grades 10 and 11, the list includes works about military operations under the subtitle "For our people."
So, for basic general education for extracurricular reading, it is recommended to read two books: "Shadows of Donbass: small stories of the great War. Unsent letters" by Oleg Roy and Mikhail Fedorov's book "Heroes of their own. Symbols of Russian courage". The age marking of these books, as indicated in the list, is "12+"
