OREANDA-NEWS. In January-April 2007 Russia exported 14 million 609,3 thousand tons of ferrous metals worth $6 billion 690,2 million.

According to the Federal Customs Service, export in the overseas countries has made 13 million 315,7 thousand tons to the amount of $5 billion 969,3 million, while export to the CIS totaled 1 million 293,6 thousand tons worth $720,8 million.

Without taking into account pig-iron, ferroalloys, waste and scrap metal, in January-April 2007 Russia exported 9 million 782,3 thousand tons of ferrous metals to the amount of $5 billion 55,6 million. Export in the overseas countries has made 8 million 879,3 thousand tons worth $4 billion 452,5 million, while export to the CIS totaled 903 thousand tons worth $603 million.

In 2006 Russia exported 45 million 960,7 thousand tons of ferrous metals to the amount of $17 billion 847,5 million.
