OREANDA-NEWS Beeline has developed a technology solution called Beeline AI - People Search based on neural networks to help Lisa Alert search and rescue teams. The technology based on artificial intelligence will analyze photographs taken from drones in places of search for missing people, the mobile operator said.

“The new technology allows Lisa Alert volunteers to reduce the time it takes to view and sort the images received by two and a half times. In the future, the technology will be improved and adapted to the specifics of searching for missing people,” the company said.

Since 2018, Lisa Alert has been using unmanned aerial vehicles for search operations conducted in the forest and industrial areas of cities. “From one day of searches using drones, the squad receives about 2.5 thousand photographs, for verification of which a group of 30 people spends an average of five to seven hours. Thanks to Beeline AI - Search for People, it takes two or three hours to analyze a single image seconds, which allows to reduce the process of sorting all content to one - two and a half hours, depending on the number of photos, "- explained in the message.

Beeline noted that the initial tests together with Lisa Alert showed that the accuracy of the model on test images is close to 98%.
