OREANDA-NEWS Russian astronomers have captured and shown nebulae that no one has been able to photograph before. The corresponding message appeared on the website of the Kaliningrad Astrological Union.
We are talking about the nebulae SH2-157 and SH2-162 (NGC 7635), named "Lobster Claw" and "Bubble". They are located in the constellation Cassiopeia, ten thousand light-years from Earth. These nebulae cannot be seen with a telescope or captured even under ideal conditions. However, astrophotographer Andrey Sidorov managed to do it. He shot each nebula individually with a shutter speed of five minutes. The duration of the entire shooting was ten hours.
Earlier it was reported that silver clouds were spotted in the sky over the Russian region. Vladimir Krupko, director of the Omsk Planetarium, clarified that it is possible to observe a rare phenomenon only in summer and only at night.
