OREANDA-NEWS  More than 250,000 Russian teachers will be able to learn artificial intelligence (AI) for free to work in the classroom, and enrollment in the corresponding program will open at Gosuslugi in September, the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation reported.

"Teachers from all over Russia will be able to improve their skills in the field of AI for free. This year, more than 250,000 people will be able to complete the Artificial Intelligence in Teacher's Work program developed by Yandex. The recording will open on Gosuslugi in September," the agency said in a statement.

It notes that neural networks will not replace a teacher or write a lesson instead, but they will help explain the material more clearly and interestingly. For example, mathematicians will be able to create AI animations about the work of formulas and theorems, biologists and geographers will be able to visualize natural processes, and foreign language teachers will be able to develop interactive tasks.
