OREANDA-NEWS  There is no shortage of medicines against influenza in Russia. This is how the situation was assessed by the head of the Ministry of Health Mikhail Murashko. His words on Tuesday, December 6, are quoted by TASS.

Due to the increase in the incidence of acute respiratory viral infection (ARVI) and influenza, he also called for wearing masks. "Now there is a period of rising incidence of both influenza and coronavirus infection. Another surge, therefore, we still recommend using masks in public places," the minister said.

Murashko noted that all Russian flu vaccines available today contain preventive components, including against swine flu.

At the end of November, Rospotrebnadzor reported that the incidence of influenza and SARS in Russia increased by almost 20 percent in a week. Morbidity rates exceeded the national average in 43 regions of the country, the department added.
