OREANDA-NEWS   The European Union should not impose huge fines on large American technology companies. This was stated by the US Ambassador to the European Union, Andrew Pazder. He was quoted by CNBC.

According to him, if the EU wants to be part of the artificial intelligence economy, then it needs data centers and access to hardware, which are available in the United States. And if the European authorities do not want to lose all this, then they should reconsider their attitude towards American tech giants, who may think about their prospects in the EU market.

Prior to that, the head of the bloc's antimonopoly authority, Teresa Ribera, said that "all companies operating in the EU must comply with our laws and respect European values."
