OREANDA-NEWS. October 15, 2007. With the switch to the winter timetable, from 28 October 2007, passenger train Number 650/649 train between Tallin and St. Petersburg will depart from Tallin at 22:24 and arrive at Vitebsk Station in St. Petersburg at 7:26, departing again from Vitebsk Station at 21:50 and arriving in Tallin at 6:28.

The new timetable has several advantages:

• convenient arrival and arrival times at the destinations, allowing passengers to rest and relax during the journey, including going on excursions, or extend their working day, depending on the type of train;
• passengers traveling to St. Petersburg or Tallin for just one day, whether tourists or businesspeople, will not have to pay extra for a hotel;
• a convenient tourist route is being organised in both directions, both as a transit service and with a day stop in St. Petersburg and Tallin;
• crossing borders by train is much more convenient than by car;
