OREANDA-NEWS. On 27 March 2008 was announced, that big group of Sevmash specialists came back from working trip in India.

Negotiations between Russian and India part took place in New Delhi. They were devoted to issues of repair and reequipment of aircraft carrier of 11430 project (former “Admiral Gorshkov”).

Visit lasted for 11 days. Russian delegation was headed by the first Deputy Direc-tor General of FSUE “Rosoboronexport” Vladimir Pakhomov. Representatives of Federal Agency on military cooperation, FSUE “Rosoboronexport”, OAO “Nevskoye CDB” took part in negotiations. 14 persons took part from Sevmash part under the head of the first Deputy Director General Edward Borisov. Indian delegation was headed by vice admiral D. Deshpande.

Indian party received schedules of additional works on repair and reequipment. Man scope of works was agreed during negotiations. Sevmash specialists mentioned goodwill and tact of partners, good knowledge of project.

Having completed stage of technical negotiations, parties are preparing for the next stage – negotiations about contract price increase. Meeting is supposed to be held in April – May 2008.
