OREANDA-NEWS. On 23 May 2008 was announced, that the Management Board of Siberian Coal Energy Company (SUEK) adopted the company's Coal Quality Policy.

The document highlights key priorities of the company's Quality Policy: meeting the market demands supplying qualitative products in compliance with consumer needs; guaranteeing timely and safe supply; anticipating claims; and, as a consequence, improving customers and partners' loyalty.

To achieve these goals SUEK is going to align its working program with the requirements and expectations of its customers. Specifically, the company enters into commitment to meet the highest international standards continuously improving its quality assurance systems at all stages of work from the beginning of coal extraction to coal supply to end customers. Currently SUEK enterprises have been developing and launching the Quality Management System meeting ISO 9001:2000 requirements.
