OREANDA-NEWS. June 30, 2008.  Alexander Ananenkov, Deputy Chairman of Gazprom’s Management Committee held at the Company’s Headquarters a joint meeting of Gazprom’s Emergencies Commission and Civil Defense Board.

In particular, the meeting considered issues concerning the improvement of the work done by Gazprom’s radiation safety services, its subsidiary companies and organizations, the planning of civil defense activities and the prevention and elimination of emergencies in the Company.

Additionally, the participants considered information with regard to the improvement of data presentation on emergencies at Gazprom’s hazardous production facilities to mass media, outside companies and general public.

Based on the meeting results Gazprom’s core business units, subsidiary companies and organizations were tasked accordingly.
