OREANDA-NEWS. On 26 August 2008 was announced, that PAVA continues to develop overseas flour markets. This time the contract was signed with a new partner from the Central-Asian state – Tajikistan Republic.

The agreement was reached after delegates from the Sogdian Region of Tajikistan officially visited the Altay Territory on July, 30 – August, 2 of the current year.

The largest grain processor of Siberia and the Far East PAVA took part in the negotiations between the potential partners from Tajikistan and the Altay manufacturers. After a number of official meetings the delegation went on a guided tour to one of the largest structural subdivisions of PAVA – Rebrikha flour mill (Rebrikha district, the Altay Territory).

“During this visit to the flour mill, the partners were pleasantly surprised not only by large-scale volumes of our production but also by the wide assortment of the manufactured products. PAVA’s conglomerate activity and solid reputation which had been formed during several years of working in this country allowed to sign a long-term agreement”, commented Angela Kiseleva, OJSC PAVA Commercial Director.

Consumers in the Sogdian Region preferred first-grade flour produced by PAVA. It will be shipped to Central Asia in the nearest future. Besides, a September application for shipment of cereals to the Republic has already been drawn up, and in October Tajikistan will receive a consignment of sunflower seed from the Altay grain processor.
