OREANDA-NEWS. On 26 August 2008 was announced, that the head of the region started his first visit to this city with a visit to Bratsk HPS, the third largest station in the country according to the amount of capacity. Its employees headed by the General Director of "Irkutskenergo" Andrey Konovalov arranged an excursion in the main shop of station. This shop has 18 turbines of 4.5 million watt /hour capacity.
