OREANDA-NEWS. Segodnya Donbass, local edition of Ukrainian national daily Segodnya, will be published starting from 18 September. The new format features regional news and announcements of the local events for citizens of Donetsk and Lugansk regions, reported the press-centre of SCM.

"We have set the goal to provide our readers always with the most interesting and up-to-date information. For this reason, we keep realizing our plan designed to localize Segodnya issues in big Ukrainian cities", says Guillermo Schmitt, CEO of Segodnya Multimedia. "We believe that Donbass citizens will feel and appreciate the changes in the format of our newspaper".

An advertising campaign has been organized to promote the local publication Segodnya Donbass. Every issue of the newspaper is developed by the Donetsk editorial office headed by Editor-in-chief Aleksandr Maksyuk: "Now the citizens of Donetsk and the region will receive the latest information, the most interesting journalistic investigations, and the most striking stories about Donetsk and the region. The young and ambitious team of Donetsk editorial office of Segodnya will do our utmost to deliver the best and latest information to the readers that buy the newspaper".

Since February 2007, ZAO Segodnya Multimedia has been successor of ZAO Segodnya Publishing House established in 1997.
