OREANDA-NEWS. September 18, 2008. "Interros" Publishing Program in cooperation with The Schusev State Museum of Architecture presents "BornHouse", an exhibition in which twenty-six Russian and international architects consider the theme of birth both of architectural forms and human beings, reported the press-centre of Interros.

First shown at the 2nd Moscow Biennale of Contemporary Art in the former gallery of the legendary VKHUTEMAS, the exhibition will be displayed in the Church of San Stae as part of the collateral program of the 11th International Architecture Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia. "BornHouse" interprets theme of Biennale, "Out There: Architecture Beyong Building", as an exploration of the practicing architect`s work with metaphor.

A glowing crеche has been built for the Baroque environment of San Stae, and its perforated walls hold twenty-six conceptual objects of clay, wax, papier-mache, wood, glass and metal. "BornHouse" and the accompanying catalogue are presented at the Architecture Biennale by the "Interros" Publishing Program.

Like the Publishing Program`s many other projects related to the development of Russia's culture and education, the involvement of the "Interros" in the 11th International Architecture Exhibition in Venice demonstrates how radically its investments in noncommercial humanitarian projects differ from widespread practices of sponsorship as the company pursues a fundamental goal: to participate in contemporary cultural processes through publishing, educational and exhibition activities. www.bornhouse.com
