OREANDA-NEWS  On 28 October was announced, that in spring 2007, PAVA (www.apkhleb.ru) had published its decision to implement the project for deep processing of wheat grain in Rebrikha district, the Altay Territory. Today, in spite of instability on the world financial markets, the largest grain processor of Siberia and the Far East is undertaking active efforts for achieving this goal.

In early October of the current year, the SPC for deep processing of wheat grain received its official name – ‘Grainvest’. It was incorporated as open joint-stock company.

The choice of the form of incorporation was determined by the company’s plans to enter international capital markets. “The project will be financed not only by our own resources, but also through attracting investors’ capital, including foreign funds. Having registered a joint-stock company, we will be able to work actively on stock floatation and attract funds for the project implementation. We’re considering alternative ways of attracting capital, such as private placement and IPO. Currently, we are in negotiations with several strategic investors”, said Galina Balaenkova, International Business Development Director and Director of IR.

After thorough analysis of the situation on the world market, PAVA approved the product range that will be manufactured by the new plant: vital wheat gluten, starches, high-protein animal feed and alcohols.

OJSC ‘Grainvest’ will benefit from the integration of processing lines, where the by-products of one process are utilized as feedstock for another.
