OREANDA-NEWS  On 17 December was announced, that the construction of any object enables quite a number of industry sectors to be involved in the single process. Due to this fact companies can operate and develop even amid the global financial crisis.

Such an opinion was expressed by Vladimir Resin, first deputy Mayor of Moscow at City Hall, head of Associate Board of Architecture, Construction, Development and Reconstruction of Moscow, in Literaturnaya Gazeta editorial office on December 11.

“The building sector is the principal locomotive that recovered Moscow from the 1990s crisis, it is to do the same now,” the official emphasized.

According to Mr Resin, despite the financial crisis, all the social urban programs aimed at building housing, kindergartens and schools scheduled for 2008 are to be fully completed. “There are enough funds in the city budget to complete the assigned tasks. This year we are to have 100 kindergartens commissioned and we are going to hold this pace next year. The same concerns housing and the objects which aren’t of less importance,” the first deputy mayor of Moscow said.

Besides, the head of Associate Board of Architecture, Construction, Development and Reconstruction of Moscow dispelled rumours about a permanent suspension of the development of MIBC Moskva-City: “It’s a jangle. The design documentation is currently worked out, the development plan has been elaborated. To proceed with development the structures located in the building plot must be removed. They include dwelling houses, plants, offices, etc. So, when the development plan has been approved we will start to build up at once.”

Speaking about the development of Rossiya Hotel, Mr Resin noted that its construction was to be completed in 2012.
