OREANDA-NEWS. On 26 January 2009 was announced, that the governor of Murmansk area Jury Evdokimov together with Andrey Extreme have met the deputy minister (stats-secretary) of foreign affairs of Norway of Elizabeth Valos who has headed delegation Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs on a trip on northern regions of Norway and Russia.

Questions of cooperation of our countries in oil and gas sphere, on labour markets of both countries, and also in spheres of education and environment protection were discussed.

Despite various approaches to work practice in Barents sea, the countries in directions all literally quickly move ahead, even in the conditions of crisis fishery will actively develop also it will demand development of joint approaches to the decision of the general problems.

The Norwegian party has noted high level of interaction concerning management of the joint bioresources, many valuable breeds of fishes are now in the best condition, than several years ago, and deposits Belosnezhka and Shtokmanovsky will transform Barentss region into the main supplier of oil and gas to Europe. Therefore it is necessary to pay special attention on problems of ecology on the basis of well worked is standard-legal base.

Andrey Krajny has put accent on new break in development of the Russian-Norwegian relations: on it it is supposed to develop uniform rules of fishery which, according to Andrey Krajnego, "will allow to remove on 99 % existing problems between fishermen and the authorities of both countries".

Jury Evdokimov and Elizabeth Valos also participated in ceremony of signing of the agreement between the company "StatojlGidro the EXPERT" and lycЁ¦e Ўн 6 of Murmansk about preparation of experts for oil and gas sphere. Besides, the governor and the stats-secretary have taken part in work of a round table on problems of the fishery spent by heads of fishing departments of Russia and Norway.
