OREANDA-NEWS. February 3, 2009. At the year-end of 2008 net assets of the Bank Finance and Credit grew up by 26% and as of 01.01.2009 they amounted to UAH 18.439 billion.

Financial result of the Bank in 2008 made up UAH 142.59 million.
In 2008 the Bank paid taxes and social transfers into the state budget for the amount of UAH 171.34 million.

In August 2008 international rating agency Moody's Investors Service upgraded its ratings for long-term deposits in domestic currency and long-term debt in foreign currency of the Bank Finance and Credit from B2 to B1 and a national-scale rating of the Bank from A1.ua to Aa3.ua. Ratings outlook is stable. In October 2008 Moody's Investors Service affirmed its ratings for the Bank Finance and Credit: rating for deposits in domestic currency and unsecured debt in foreign currency as В1/NP; bank`s financial strength rating (BFSR) as Е+; national-scale rating for deposits in domestic currency as Аа3.ua. Ratings have stable outlook.

In 3Q 2008 international auditing company KPMG confirmed 1H 208 Financial Statements of the OJSC Bank Finance and Credit, executed according to IFRS.

In 2008 charter capital of the Bank increased from UAH 1.277 billion to UAH 2 billion.

Loan portfolio of the Bank grew by over 37% and as of 01.01.2009 made up UAH 15.740 billion; volume of funds attracted from retail and corporate customers made up UAH 10.324 billion as of 01.01.2009.

As of 01.01.2009 Bank Finance and Credit has formed provisions for the total amount of UAH 625.74 million to cover risks of all its active operations.

As of 01.01.2009 the Bank is servicing over 49 thousand corporate customers. Funds borrowed from corporate customers amounted to UAH 3.725 billion. Volume of corporate loans grew over the year by 30% up to UAH 9.5 billion.

The  largest corporate lending projects in 2008 were opened credit lines to the large corporate customers such as CJSC Aerosvit Airlines, Ukraine International Airlines, O`KEY Ukraine, Ltd., MiS, Ltd., Zelena Dolyna Agrocomplex, Ltd., Zernotorgovaya Kompaniya, Ltd. etc.

SME Loan portfolio grew by more than 54% compared to the last year indicator and as of 01.01.2009 made up UAH 739.54 million. As of 01.01.2009 number of existing loan agreements with SME customers is over 9,550. 

The Bank serves over 157 thousand term deposit accounts of retail customers, as well as 235 thousand current accounts. In 2008 volume of funds obtained by the Bank Finance and Credit from retail customers grew by over 46% and made up UAH 6.599 billion. In 2008 retail loan portfolio of the Bank grew by 50% and as of 01.01.2009 amounted to UAH 6.240 billion.

The Bank constantly develops special deposit programs focused on customer needs. In the course of 2008 customers of the Bank had an opportunity to participate in various deposit promo actions, such as Golden Spring, Silver Rain and Deposits of the Purest Tint. Total prize fund amounted to 1,955 gold and silver bullions. 20 December 2008 a new deposit promo campaign was launched called Spring in Paris. The main prize of the promo campaign is 3 tourist tours for two to Paris. Volume of retail term deposits as of 01.01.2009 made up UAH 6.286 billion.

In February 2008 The bank Finance and Credit started issuing a new premium card product VISA Platinum with a purpose of providing individual approach to VIP-clients of the Bank. In July 2008 the Bank together with international payment system VISA Incorporated and network of petrol stations Ukr-Petrol summarized results of the promo action Turn Petrol into Gold. Total prize fund of the campaign made up over 1,000 liters of fuel. Besides, in 2008 the Bank participated in several promo projects of international payment systems VISA and MasterCard for holders of the cards issued by the Bank: Olympic Movement, VISA Olympic Fantasies and Champion Card etc. 

As of 01.01.2009 the Bank Finance and Credit issued about 940 thousand payment cards VISA and MasterCard. Infrastructure of the Bank card business includes 4,144 points of sale, 440 own ATMs and 540 cash issuing points. As of 01.01.2009 the bank has implemented over 3,540 salary projects.

Joint ATM-network which includes the Bank Finanse and Credit, Ukrsibbank, Ukrsotsbank, Praveksbank and Rodovid Bank has  3,649 ATMs as of 01.01.2009 and it allows the customers of the banks to withdraw cash without any additional fee.

International money transfer system AVERS, founded in the Bank Finance and Credit, celebrated its third birthday in 2008. AVERS system is one of the leading money transfer systems in Ukraine for today. As of 01.01.2009 the system includes 1,000 outlets in Ukraine and over 100 thousand payment acceptance/transfer outlets in 81 countries of the world. In comparison with 2007 volume of money transfers grew in 2.5 times.   Turnover of transfers through AVERS system in 2008 made up USD 200 million.

In 2008 the Bank performed its next capital markets transaction: in 2008 the Bank obtained a syndicated facility for the amount of USD 112.5 million.

Being one of the largest importers of foreign currency Bank Finance and Credit imported to Ukraine about USD 1.5 billion and EUR 191.8 million in 2008 and also sold 810.67 kilo banking metals.

As of 01.01.2009 network of the Bank Finance and Credit includes 16 branches and 365 outlets all over Ukraine. In 2008 the Bank implemented a branch network optimization program that allowed to substantially improve quality of customer services.
