OREANDA-NEWS  On 10 June was announced, that the Russian Bank for Development launches a new SME support procedure via leasing companies. The Bank has opened a lending limit to Transleasing (Chelyabinsk).

The allocated resources will be channeled to backing the purchases of special equipment and transport for the subsequent leasing to the SMEs.

Within the credit limit set for OOO Transleasing the first earmarked loan worth RUR 4.8 million with a 3-year maturity was extended for purchase drilling and cranage crampon and autotrucks. According to the project the receiver of the leasing is a manufacturing SME operating in Khanty-Mansiysk autonomous okrug.

According to Sergey Krjukov, Chairman of the Board of RBD “having launched this project RBD is opening a new trend in SME support”. “Now along with the adjusted two-tier lending procedure via the counter-party banks we shall provide SME lending through infrastructure support entities. The given line will be developed pursuant to the Bank’s business-plan for this year. Other applications of the leasing companies are under consideration. At that as it is clear from our “pilot” transaction the priority shall be given to projects implemented in the real economy sector” - S.Krjukov said.
