OREANDA-NEWS. August 04, 2009. According to the Ministry’s press release, in particular, 614 wine export authorizations were issued, making up 84.32 per cent of the total quota allocated by the EU for the export of this production this year.

The sugar quota has been used at 88.7 per cent. 15.9 thousand tones of sugar were delivered abroad, with 726 permissions released. 311 permissions were given for exporting barley. The quota for export of this product to the EU has been used by Moldova at 38.8 per cent. 954 permissions were issued for maize deliveries with the quota used at the level of 95.77 per cent. The quota for wheat has been used at 100 per cent.

30 thousand tones of wheat were supplied abroad. The autonomous commercial preferences were provided to Moldova on March 1 2008. Moldova received quotas for the duty-free export of wine, sugar, wheat , barley to the EU.
