OREANDA-NEWS. October 1, 2009. EuroChem’s integrated management system audit has been completed for certification under the international standards ISO 9001:2008 (quality), ISO 14001:2004 (environment), and OHSAS 18001:2007 (professional health and safety). The fact that the company passed the international audit indicates that the quality of its products, its concern for employee health and safety, and its environmental protection initiatives are on par with the largest companies worldwide.

The certification was conducted by the leading international auditor – Bureau Veritas Certification.

EuroChem began implementing its integrated management system back in 2005. In the years that followed, the system has been implemented within all of the company’s subsidiaries. Final audits were carried out from June to September this year at OJSC Kovdorsky Mining and Processing Works, LLC Phosphorite Industrial Group, OJSC Novomoskovsk Joint-Stock Company Azot, and at EuroChem’s Moscow office. Non-conformities discovered during the audit have been quickly eliminated by the company. Based on the audit results, EuroChem will receive official documents certifying its management system’s compliance with international standards.

The management system’s implementation has led to significant improvements in key quality indicators for the company’s products, industrial safety, and environmental impact.
