OREANDA-NEWS. November 19, 2009. According to the information provided by the party's central executive committee, over 600 Russian and foreign journalists will work at the "United Russia" party convention, which will be conducted on November 21,2009.

Most of the world media such as Associated Press, Reuter, France Press, Sinkhua, Wall Street Journal, Figaro and others have already demonstrated interest to the even. Even rare guests at the Russian political events - journalists from Estonian TV and radio broadcasting company are also among the accredited media. Numerous representatives of all Russian regions from Kaliningrad to Far East will come to St. Petersburg. Media sources are very different; some have very unusual names such as "Free Island" or "Ura.ru". The most intrigue one is "Medved film" TV Company, represented by two journalists - Pavel Medvedev and Igor Nurgaliev.

This XI party convention will revive the old experience of distant forums. "United Russia" has already conducted its meetings in Yekaterinburg and Krasnoyarsk, but it is the first time when the event is organized in the hometown of the party's leader Vladimir Putin.

The meeting will be preceded by the V All -Russian media forum, conducted on November 20, 2009.In the evening the guest will attend "Korsar" ballet in Mikhailovsky Theatre which will touch upon an actual problem of sea pirating.

The convention, run on November 21, 2009, will take place in "Lenexpo" exhibition complex on Vasilyevsky Island: the place where the St. Petersburg Economic Forum is annually conducted. Probably this time event guests and visitors will observe some new creative interior solutions as the Party always brings its entourage. By the way, it will be the first event, where journalists will receive special accrediting badges with an electronic chip, which will be the first precedent in the history of the Russian party forums.

  Before the end of the event there will also be a scientific and practical forum "Party's Social Responsibility". Several agreements are expected to be signed between the "United Russia"and some foreign political parties: several dozens are invited to the convention.

The forthcoming meeting of "United Russia" will be focused on the new party's program, which is currently discussed in the regions. Boris Grizlov, "United Russia" speaker, has already announced that this document will be based on the party's ideology - Russian conservatism.  Putin's plan and Medvedev's initiatives, explained in the newspaper article: "Russia - go ahead"   will become a basis for the new program document. "The new party charter project will also be discussed during the convention. We are planning to include into our charter the article about the party's compulsory participation in the debates,   - said Mr. Grizlov".
