OREANDA-NEWS. November 27, 2009. The Moscow Duma chairman Vladimir Platonov believes that a shortage of places in Moscow’s kindergartens will be solved in two or three years.

The official told journalists on November 24 that a number of newborns had exceeded 100,000 two years in succession. According to Mr Platonov, the only way to solve the problem of a shortage of kindergartens in Moscow is to develop them.

Besides, the city authorities intend to renew the former kindergartens which are currently being misused and reopen them.
