OREANDA-NEWS. January 25, 2010. Summarizing the results of 2009, assets of the Commercial Bank Unibank OJSC totaled AZN 352.949 million.

The bank informed that in accordance with summarizing data  of 2009, loan portfolio of Unibank made AZN 244.537 million (including the consumer loans totaling   AZN 134.86 million ).

“Volume of individuals’ deposits, attracted by Unibank in 2009, totaled AZN 137.931 million and increased in comparison with similar index of 2008 by AZN 14.26 million or by 11.53%,” it was informed.

The population’s deposits, including the balance in the clients’ settlement and current accounts reached the historic maximum of AZN 94.526 million (USD 117.72 million) at the end of 2009. It is by AZN 13.51 million or by 16.68% more than a year before. The individuals’ fixed deposits, excluding the current accounts, totaled AZN 77.466 million or almost USD 96.5 million at the end of 2009.

Being one of the first members of the Deposit Insurance Fund (DIF), Unibank concludes 170 deposit transactions in the total amount of AZN 9.9 million on the average per month.

“The citizens’ deposits in Unibank rise by AZN 1,117 every minute thanks to the stable customer base and the successful promotion of the deposit products of the bank,” the bank informed.

Summarizing the results of the year, total capital of the bank made AZN 59.46 million.

Service network of Unibank consists of 25 branches and subbranches, and operates in 7 towns of Azerbaijan currently. The bank has more than 123,000 retail and corporate customers at present.
