OREANDA-NEWS. February 16, 2010. It is essential to build an underground passage from Tsaritsyno Station of the Moscow Metro to the main entrance to Tsaritsyno Park, the local prefect Yury Bulanov said.

“The park is visited by up to 50,000 people on weekdays and from 100,000 to 150,000 at weekends,” the official noted at a session of the Moscow Government.

Today visitors to Tsaritsyno Park have to go through the passage little more than a metre in width.

Besides, Mr Bulanov added that a big interchange station scheduled to be developed near Tsaritsyno Station by 2012 would provide comfort for visitors to the park and the locals.
