OREANDA-NEWS. February 25, 2010. AMFA says that the number of Association’s active members on crediting totaled 430,088 persons by February of the year.

“AMFA members’ overall loan portfolio exceeded USD2.13 bn,” the Association said.

The volume of the repaid loans for the reported term reached USD 2.5 million and the share of risky loans made up to 7.62% of portfolio.

At the same time total assets of 29 organizations dealing with microfinancing amounted to USD 3.4 bn in January.

AMFA was established in 2001 in order to strengthen potential possibilities of domestic microfinance organizations and create conditions for joint rational activity within the framework of interests of microfinance community.
