OREANDA-NEWS. April 05, 2010. This year, 80 billion tenge was allocated for support of agrarian business to national holding “KazAgro” from the national budget. “Agro-Tses” prepares for sowing campaign. The farmers check the agricultural machinery, stock up with fuel, seed and fertilizers. Farmers have already received a loan from “KazAgro” national holding with 8% per annum.

Lyubov Zaitseva, chief accountant of the company “Agro-Tses”:

- We took 150 million tenge, and 43 million we have already spent. We purchased 150 thousand diesel fuel, also purchased 325 tons of fertilizers. We will pay taxes in time and give pensions. Then we plan repair combines after sowing campaign.

The farm is going to grow wheat, flax and chickpeas. The farmers have been cooperating with agrarian loan corporation for the second year. They are satisfied with everything – percentage and loan conditions. The credit is paid at the end of the year, which is very convenient. Farmers who plan to start sowing in time, must quickly collect the documents and apply.

Asylzhan Mamytbekov, chairman of “KazAgro” National Holding:

- Today we considered more than 30 billion tenge at our credit committee, approved for funding. Of these, 27 billion 400 million actually were funded. This work is quite active, and every day the cipher is increasing.

Credit at a rate of 8% per annum is given to farmers issue if a bank guarantee is presented. Under the 12% - if grain receipts are presented. Small-scale farmers receive a loan through large agribusiness entities that hold purchase products on the basis of forward contracts.
