OREANDA-NEWS. May 17, 2010. Sergey Krjukov, Chairman of the Board of RBD made a report at the conference of the Committee of the Association of Russian Banks dealing with development of the financial and credit mechanism for small and medium-sized business that took place in Stavropol, reported the press-centre of RBD.

S.Krjukov reported that under the State-Sponsored SME Lending Support Program the Russian Bank for Development has signed agreements with 87 counter-party banks for a total amount of RUR 24.5 billion. At that pursuant to the agreements the counter-party banks have already extended over 2 thousand loans to SMEs totaling RUR 15 billion. The Head of RBD also analyzed   the Program’s implementation in the Stavropol Kray. According to Mr.Krjukov currently 3 banks and 1 infrastructure organization are partners of the Bank in the region. Meanwhile the undrawn regional limit provided for the kray according to the Program is RUR 382 million.

S.Krjukov informed the participants of the conference about RBD’s credit products for banks, infrastructure organizations as well as those that are earmarked for innovations and modernization. “In future RBD is intending to introduce new attractive products which along with the existing Bank’s offers shall multiply the number of partners in the region in order to draw the regional limit completely”, he pointed out. At that both the Governor of the Stavropol Kray Valery Gaevskiy and the RBD’s CEO Sergey Krjukov expressed their opinion that the Program should be outspread in the region.

The conference was attended by representatives from the chief administration of the Central Bank in the Stavropol Kray as well as heads of banks and SMEs operating in the kray.
