OREANDA-NEWS. May 27, 2010. Belarus’ OAO Krinitsa, the largest brewery of the country, produced 4.035 million decaliters of beer in January-April 2010, down 9.5% from the January-April 2009 level, a representative in food concern Belgospischeprom told.

The Minsk-based facility decreased beer production 8.7% to 3.933 million decaliters.

Beer output in plastic bottles went down 7.7% on the year to 3.393 million decaliters.

Krinitsa beer output in glass bottles fell 25.5% to 365,000 decaliters, in kegs went up 30.1% to 217,000 decaliters and in cans fell 51.6% to 60,000 decaliters.

Krinitsa’s share in overall beer output in Belarus fell in January-April 2010 by 4 percentage points to 39%.

Krinitsa was founded in January 2001. OAO Polotsk Beer and Nesvizh soft drinks plant have been incorporated by OAO Krinitsa and operate as subsidiaries.
