OREANDA-NEWS. June 16, 2010. Ingosstrakh’s Tyumen branch has entered into an insurance contract with Zemlya LLC, located in the Tyumen Region. The insured property is the future harvest of spring wheat, oat and peas on a total area of 2,286 ha. The insured amount is 16.9 mln rubles.

Subject to the contract, the future harvest has been insured against failure or partial loss due to the impact of natural phenomena unfavorable for agriculture: hail damage; unfavorable conditions; combination of natural phenomena leading to freezing of winter crops; decrease of air and/or soil temperature below the critical values during the active vegetation or harvesting period; ice layer on the soil; formation of snow cover hindering harvesting; strong wind (including transporting dust, sand); excess of moisture; heavy precipitation; lengthy meltwater stagnation (drowning); lack of heat.

Ingosstrakh’s Tyumen branch has been cooperating with Zemlya LLC in the field of agroindustrial insurance since 2009. During this time, harvest and agricultural equipment and machinery were insured.
