OREANDA-NEWS. August 13, 2010. Triple, one of the largest oil traders in Belarus, plans to process 58,800 tones of Russian crude oil in August, an official in the administration of the country told.

Triple had been granted a quota by the commission for import of energy resources to process 29,400 tones of oil subject to the standard duty and the same amount of duty-free oil in August.

The quota is adjusted on a monthly basis. OOO Triple plans to process the entire volume at OAO Naftan.

OOO Triple resumed processing under tolling terms in April.

In previous months, the company had a quota of 60,000 tonnes of duty-based oil and 60,000 tonnes of duty-free oil, however, the quota has been halved.

Belarus is expected to process 6.3 million tonnes of Russian oil on a duty-free basis this year.
