OREANDA-NEWS. December 24, 2010. Belarus’ beer output increased 16.5% on the year in January-October 2010 to 33.6 million decaliters, the National Statistics Committee told.

In value terms, beer output totaled 737.4 billion Belarusian rubles (Br), up 18.7%.

In October, beer output rose 30.7% on the year to 2.9 million decaliters. In value terms, beer production increased 47.1% to 70.5 billion rubles.

Beer inventories were at 1.8 million decaliters as of November 1, 2010, 52.8% of the average monthly output, worth 46.3 billion rubles, 63.8% of the average monthly output.

Beer sales increased 22.7% on the year in January-October to 28.753 million decaliters.
