OREANDA-NEWS. January 26, 2011.  Troika Dialog, the oldest and largest private investment bank in the CIS, joins other world and business leaders at the World Economic Forum’s 41st annual meeting at Davos as a strategic partner from Wednesday, 26th January 2011. Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO, Ruben Vardanian, who is also President of Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO, will speak at the panel session entitled “How can entrepreneurship education drive inclusive growth and job creation?” on Saturday, 29th January at 09:00 in the Congress Centre. Troika Dialog participates as a Forum strategic partner for the fourth time.

In addition to Mr Vardanian, the expert delegation representing Troika Dialog at the Forum will include Chief Business Officer Jacques Der Megreditchian, Managing Director and Head of Private Clients Division Catherine Thibaut, Managing Director Sergey Skvortsov and Managing Director Aram Grigorian.

Commenting on the prospects for this year’s World Economic Forum, Ruben Vardanian said: “In a post-crisis world, this year’s Davos focuses on shared norms for the new reality. Business and political leaders from old and new economies have a shared imperative to define the policies and practices which will sustain the promising return to global growth and build a risk response network to avoid future crises on the scale we have seen.”
“Among the founding BRICs, Russia is particularly well-placed to capture global growth in 2011,” continues Vardanian. WTO accession should act as an anchor for long-term reform and increase the natural growth rate. The new privatization program marks the start of a long pull-back by the state. Rapprochement with the West will continue as Russia seeks support for modernization. Dividends are improving and building investor confidence. Now in our 20th year at the heart of the Russian investment landscape, Troika Dialog is acutely aware of the complicated and exciting trading and investment relationships which Russia now has with the world’s old and new markets.”

Troika Dialog will also maintain its Davos tradition of inviting delegates to an evening of ice-skating featuring performances by some of Russia’s skating stars. On the evening of Thursday, 27th January, the Valliant Arena Ice Stadium will come alive with a show celebrating Troika Dialog’s landmark 20th Anniversary.
