The St. Petersburg subsidiary ROSNO-MS — CJSC IC Medexpress Plus — has received a certificate of its exclusion from the Unified State Register of Legal Entities in connection with its reorganization in form of its takeover by the parent company. From now on, all rights and obligations of this insurer belong to OJSC ROSNO-MS by virtue of legal succession, reported the press-centre of ROSNO.

"This is another, third in the recent years, successful takeover by the parent company of a subsidiary operating in the St. Petersburg municipal and regional OMI system, completing our consistent activities aimed at optimization of the regional insurance field and the organizational structure of ROSNO-MS. This work results in better protection of our insurants and OMI cost savings enabling additional funding for the new customer service system set up for the residents of Russia’s northern capital. The additional functionality provided to insurants will be maintained by employees of 12 offices in 5 city districts", commented on this event Mr. Yury Bondarev, Deputy CEO of OJSC ROSNO-MS.

The obligatory medical insurance policies issued by CJSC IC Medexpress Plus will be valid if presented at medical institutions for the purpose of obtaining insured medical aid under the territorial OMI program prior to the deadline specified in the policy. In addition, in accordance with the new OMI Law enacted on 01 January 2011, the best option is to replace such policies at the earliest opportunity for the policies issued by OJSC ROSNO-MS in any convenient office of the St. Petersburg branch of OJSC ROSNO-MS representing the Company’s interests in St. Petersburg and the St. Petersburg Region.
