OREANDA-NEWS. February 22, 2011. 69 transactions were concluded at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week.

The transactions concluded in the foreign currency totalled over USD 77.862 million. Businessmen from the United Arab Emirates, Russia, Afghanistan and Panama bought liquefied gas, gasoline, diesel fuel, polypropylene and aviation kerosene produced at the Turkmenbashi oil refineries.

Buyers from the United Arab Emirates concluded the transactions for liquefied gas from the Nayip terminal. Diesel fuel produced at Seydi oil refinery was bought by businessmen from Tajikistan, and technical carbon and technical iodine (Turkmenhimiya State Concern) were bought by businessmen from the UAE and Russia. The transactions in the foreign currency were concluded for grey cloth, cotton yarn, greige yarn, ginned cotton. The buyer countries: the United States, South Korea, the United Kingdom, Turkey, Belgium, Russia, Lithuania, Kyrgyzstan, the Virgin Islands.

Buyers from China, the United States, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, Afghanistan, Belize, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Estonia and Azerbaijan concluded the transactions in deposit manats for refined cottonseed oil, confectioneries, dyed terry towels, cotton wool and cotton yarn, karakul wool and saraja wool, cattle skin, grey cloth and geige yarn, raw fatty acids. The transaction sin deposit manats totalled 17.602 million manats.
