OREANDA-NEWS. April 21, 2011. The Collective Agreement is a normative act of social partnership directed towards creation of conditions for effective work of the enterprise, the solution of social, labour and economic problems of its workers.

On 12 April the board and trade-union committee have made a joint decision “On the affirmation of the Collective Agreement performance report for 2010 and prolongation of the Collective Agreement operation for 2011”.

The report was heard and the “Certificate on performance of the Collective Agreement measures for 2010” was confirmed. From 127 measures noted in the Collective Agreement only 2 were not fulfilled.

Addendums were added to the prolonged Collective Agreement for 2011. They were suggested by the labour collectives of the Works’ structural divisions and considered by the workers committee on negotiations conduct and preparation of the Collective Agreement project. All changes and addendums are directed towards the preservation of social programs and meet the requirements of the General Agreement and the norms of the Tax Code. Performance of the obligations accepted by labour collectives regarding increase of production efficiency, economy of raw materials, fuel and energy and material resources will promote performance of the measures directed towards improvement of social and economic well-being of the workers.

Thus, in difficult social and economic conditions the board and trade-union committee, having made the given decision, have shown social responsibility before the workers of Zaporizhstal, preserving all the social programs. Once again they have confirmed the reputation of a socialized enterprise.
