OREANDA-NEWS. June 22, 2011. A delegation led by a member of the Executive Board of ThyssenKrupp AG, Deputy Head for Central Asia of the Eastern Committee of German Economy Edwin Ferdinand Eichler is on a visit to the Turkmen capital during these days.

The guests from the friendly country were received at the Government, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Energy and Industry. During the meeting it was emphasized that the German business circles highly evaluated the social and economic reforms and the ongoing modernization of all sectors of the national economy implemented in Turkmenistan under the leadership of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. As is known, relying on expansion of international cooperation with interested partners and attraction of best international practices to adopt it in various sectors of the national economy, our country builds up business partnerships with different countries of the world, including the Federal Republic of Germany.

A fruitful discussion of further development of Turkmen-German collaboration in a number of priority fields, including the fuel and energy, transport and communication, construction and industrial sectors, took place in this context.

Evaluating highly the tremendous resource potential of the Turkmen state and the favourable conditions for foreign business in the country, the representative of ThyssenKrupp AG expressed interest in establishing mutually advantageous partnerships and expanding on the promising and dynamically developing Turkmen market.
